Student Life

EIBCS is not just a Seminary where students only focus on their academic work, but an active and organic community. Activities within the Seminary community make student’s life on campus a memorable experience.

Outside the classroom, students congregate, challenge, interact and grow together. Monthly Chapel services, lectures, special events and conferences are programs that make or help students have rewarding life experience on campus.

EIBCS community believes in unity in diversity. With the diverse array of custom, beliefs, background and traditions of students and staff, unity has always been the focal point. Students find a point of convergence while in campus and build their life-long relationship around it.

EIBCS does not have residence hall for students. Each student is responsible for securing his/her own housing/accommodation. There is plethora of good rental opportunities in the communities surrounding EIBCS. So, getting a good accommodation is not a challenge, if the student has money to pay.

EIBCS does not condone harassment and discrimination against any member of the Seminary community on the basis of race, colour, gender, nationality, gender, age, status or disability.

The student union is the representative of the entire body of students of the seminary. All registered students are members of the union by payment of annual subscription. EIBCS’ student union body serves as an effective means of training in mature leadership and as a channel of coordination for student involvement in the management of the Seminary.

The general function of the student union body of EIBCS, is to foster and manage the social, cultural and spiritual interests of students and provide a forum for any other activities of the union.

The Governing Body of the union is the Student Representative Council (SRC). In accordance with the existing student union constitution, the union elects the following offices every session: president, General Secretary, Welfare secretary and financial manager.

Alumni

The Alumni association of EIBCS is formed to support a network of former students or graduates, who are supposed to raise the profile of the Seminary.

The Alumni Association provides a platform for graduates of the Seminary to mentor the students on ground and also give generous donations toward the growth and development of their alma mater.

Alumni Association sends out current information about the school to former students via newsletters, email or college magazine. It helps graduates to stay in the know about their alma mater.
